Do medicine prices in Estonia differ much between pharmacies?
Some do, some don't — for roughly half of the comparable products the price is the same at every pharmacy, and for the rest the gap can be large. Which case you are in only shows once you compare.
Can I compare prescription medicine prices here?
No. We compare over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, supplements and other pharmacy goods. The retail markup on prescription medicines is capped in Estonia, and Tervisekassa publishes the official price list.
Which pharmacies do you compare?
The pharmacies tracked right now are Apotheka, BENU, Euroapteek and Südameapteek. Every product lists each pharmacy that currently stocks it.
How fresh are the prices?
We check the pharmacies every day, and each product shows when that pharmacy was last read. Offers older than a week are dropped.
Can I be notified when a medicine gets cheaper?
Yes. Every product can carry a price alert, and we let you know when the price falls to the limit you set.
