How do you decide which store is cheapest?

Every week we price the same shopping list (28 lines) at these stores: Rimi e-pood, Barbora, Coop, e-Selver. Each store fills every line with its own cheapest matching product; we then add the lines up and rank the stores from cheapest to most expensive.

Why don't the grocery baskets hold exactly the same products?

Because we compare what a week's shop actually costs, not one particular brand. Each store picks its own cheapest option for every line, so the result reflects a real grocery basket rather than forcing identical products some stores may not even stock.

How often is this comparison updated?

A new grocery basket is published at most once a week. The publication date is shown at the top of the page.
